The Top Cafes in London

London. Nowhere says England to those from outside the country quite like the capital city, whose iconography of Tube station signs, red buses, and black cabs have become the iconography of England. Even in cultural historic memory, the coldest English winter we’re aware of is referred to as “the winter that the Thames froze over”.

The dominance of contemporary iconography has come somewhat late to London, with the Shard finally breaking through the collective associations of Victoriana, the London of Sherlock Holmes and Charles Dickens, the London of the Houses of Parliament and Buckingham Palace, and making a striking statement of London as a city of style, of architectural boldness and daring; a thoroughly modern city with everything the modern tourist could want.

Who Makes the Best Carpet Cleaners – Bissell or Vax?

If you are based in the UK and are looking to purchase a carpet cleaner then, according to https://www.bestcarpetcleanerguide.co.uk/, you basically have a choice of 2 manufacturers – Bissell or Vax, but which one offers the best carpet cleaner?

Bissell’s first carpet cleaning machine was created by Melville Bissell in Michigan in the mid-1800’s in answer to his wife Anna’s problem of removing sawdust from their crockery shop carpet. Melville’s idea was so successfully and popular that by 1883 he had set up the Bissell manufacturing plant in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Over the years a number of innovations have followed including a shampooer machine and a deep cleaning carpet cleaner. More recently Bissell has moved into the pet hair/stain removal market.

Vax in comparison is the newcomer. Launched in 1979, Vax is the UK’s best-selling floor cleaner brand. Vax is probably most famously known for their original 3-in-1 orange carpet cleaner that brought industrial type carpet cleaning to the masses.

According to Best Carpet Cleaner Guide, the Bissell range currently includes 6 “deep” carpet cleaners all under the CleanView brand. The top-end models feature heated water cleaning and separate spot stain cleaners. The Bissell carpet cleaner styling can be considered far more conservative than that of Vax with all models featured a white coloured main body and blue cleaning head.

The current Vax carpet cleaner range features 10 models, even including the original “orange tub” design. Available features are similar to Bissell including heated water and powered hand tool accessories. The Vax models are more brightly coloured in bright greens, pinks and oranges and have a more “gadgety” look to them.

Both manufacturers offer very similar machines at each price point but in the end your choice may come down to brand preference, design or the best price deal you can get.

If you need to find more information of Vax and Bissell carpet cleaners then have a look at bestcarpetcleanerguide.co.uk as it includes model comparisons and reviews.
